Apparently EA games is going to make a System Shock 3, sounds good right? I mean come on, System Shock is an excellent series and we want more right!? WRONG! EA is making System Shock 3 without Ken Levine and his comrades and instead with the team that made the Godfather game. What does this mean? This means that the series is going to start sucking ass through a straw! The reason Ken isn't working on System Shock 3 is because he said:
One of the reasons I wasn't interested [in System Shock 3] is EA just didn't give a sh-t about that game.
Now I'm not 100% sure on all of this, but it is according to an article found in the UK edition of PC Gamer, as well as this picture:
If Ken seriously doesn't change his mind and start to work on this project with EA it could very well be the end of the System Shock series as we know it.

Well, speaking as someone who never played the games this doesn't affect me much. I did however hear great things about the first two games (mostly form you, lol) so this is unfortunate news.
It is always sad when a large company looks more for profits than making a quality product. Lets hope that if this is true, than EA gets their acts together and makes this game right.
